Holt Group September 2022 Round up

A lot of good things have happened within the Holt Recruitment Group since our last News Post so it’s about time we posted an update! From Employee of the Month to Dog of the Month (careful not to mix the photographs up!) as well as New starters, a Charity Rally and an exciting Recruitment Open Day coming up.

Employee of the Month – Katie Oliver

Meet Katie Oliver – Marketing Assistant Extraordinaire! Katie was unanimously voted ‘Employee of the Month’ at Holt Recruitment Group for her unswerving dedication, enthusiasm and general helpfulness. Well done Katie – enjoy your Voucher!

Katie said “I am Thrilled to have won Employee of the Month this month after putting in a lot of hard work to improve our marketing strategy and deliver engaging content across our platforms”.

I joined Holt Recruitment in January 2022 and have loved every minute of my experience so far, I can’t wait to see what my time at the company has in store for me!

Dog of the Month – Finn the Maltichon

finn

Meet Finn – he’s an absolutely adorable (yes, he’s my dog!) 3 year old Maltichon. Maltichons are a cross between a Maltese Terrier and a Bichon Frise and have an exceptional temperament and a glint in their eye!

Holt Recruitment have a long-established “Dog Friendly Policy” that Staff Members regularly take advantage of the Dog Policy to bring their Good Boys and Girls to the Office.

Finn is an easy Dog to love – he will “high five” you, Roll over and Hop – provided there’s a treat at the end to make his hard work worthwhile!

Should you be moving jobs?

Should you move jobs to help cope with Price Rises?

If you are considering moving jobs to keep up with inflation and the souring price rises then you are in good company – around a third of the UK workforce (37%) is considering moving jobs to increase their wages by the end of 2022.

First it was COVID, then an increase in National Insurance contributions then the war in Ukraine and now there are warnings of a deep and protracted Recession that could last years! A full recovery from the COVID pandemic hasn’t yet been achieved when along came a War on our doorstep pushing the cost of Petrol and Gas up which has had a huge impact on the cost of pretty much every else.

The very noticeable effect of these prices rises is that we all have less money at the end of the month – even when treats like Takeaways, eating out, streaming subscriptions and unnecessary journeys in the car.
